Meet the face behind The Sleep Cure
Hello and welcome to The Sleep Cure! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. My name is Letitia and I’m the person behind this space, dedicated to supporting families through the often-challenging journey of infant sleep.
I’m a proud mum to identical twin girls, who are now six years old and full of life, personality and endless energy. Navigating those early days with twins taught me so much. Not just about sleep (or lack of it!) but about resilience, patience and the incredible power of finding the right support when you need it most.
Alongside my personal journey, I’ve had the privilege of building a professional career focused on caring for families. I worked as a Midwife for 10 years, supporting parents at one of the most special and sometimes overwhelming, moments of their lives. After that, I spent two years as a Health Visitor, supporting families with a variety of issues such as sleep, nutrition, immunisations, behaviour and so much more. More recently, I’ve been working within the NHS in a safeguarding role, where I help to protect and advocate for children and adults in vulnerable situations.
Each of these roles has shaped who I am today. They’ve deepened my understanding of how unique every family’s story is and how important it is to provide compassionate, evidence-based support without judgment. My love for working with families has only grown stronger over the years, and it’s what inspired me to create The Sleep Cure.
Infant sleep can be one of the toughest hurdles in those early months and years. I know firsthand how exhausting it can feel when nights are long and sleep feels like a distant memory. My goal is to combine my professional expertise with my personal experience as a mum to offer practical, supportive guidance that works for your family because there’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to sleep.
Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. I’m here to walk alongside you, to listen and to help you and your little one find the rest you need.
Letitia
