About Me

Hi, I’m Letitia

Certified Sleep Consultant | Midwife | Health Visitor | Mum to Twins

I’m a Certified Sleep Consultant with over a decade of experience in Midwifery and Health Visiting. My journey in supporting families began more than 10 years ago, working closely with parents, newborns and infants through some of the most transformative and challenging moments of early life.

My journey into sleep consulting grew naturally from years spent supporting families through pregnancy, birth and the early years of parenting and have supported families with feeding issues, weaning problems, behavioural concerns and sleep difficulties.

Combined with my personal experience raising my twin girls, I truly understand the exhaustion, pressure and overwhelming love that comes with parenthood. My personal and professional experiences have shaped my holistic, compassionate approach to sleep support as I have seen and experienced first hand, how deeply sleep (or the lack of it) can affect a family’s well being. Due to my Midwifery and Health Visiting experience, I have a deep understanding of sleep patterns in infants and young children, an awareness of developmental milestones and remain up to date with evidence based information to promote a safe sleep environment. Furthermore, I have a true understanding of the emotional and physical impact caring for twins can have and, I am passionate about supporting families with their sleep needs. I specialise in helping families create gentle, effective sleep routines that work for their unique needs, without guilt, shame or a one-size-fits-all solution.

Whether you’re an expectant parent keen to prepare for your newborn, a new parent navigating sleepless nights, transitioning to independent sleep or stuck in a cycle of night waking, I will take a personalised and compassionate approach, offering evidence-based solutions tailored to your family’s individual needs. Becoming a parent is a beautiful journey but sleepless nights can make it overwhelming.

At The Sleep Cure, I am here to support you and your little one through these challenging times with gentle, effective sleep solutions tailored just for your family along with practical tools and unwavering support- because every family deserves rest.

My Values

  • I recognise that sleep issues are often stressful, emotive and personal. Therefore, I will always offer support without judgement.

  • My extensive years as a Midwife and Health Visitor allows me to understand the importance of remaining aware of the latest research. I am committed to staying up to date in sleep science, child development and behavioural health, ensuring I offer evidence based methods.

  • I respect that every child and family are unique, therefore, I ensure that the sleep plans I provide are tailored to suit cultural values, parenting styles, family dynamics and health needs.

  • I will empower you to make positive changes and healthy sleep habits that will ultimately result in a better sleep for all.

  • I will always take a holistic approach to create a sleep plan that reflects the needs of both the parents and the child, empowering the parent and nurturing the child. There is not a one size fits all and my sleep training reflects the individual needs of the child.
