1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Letitia Underwood, trading as The Sleep Cure (referred to throughout as 'The Sleep Cure', 'I', 'me' or 'my'). The Sleep Cure is a sole trader business operating as an Infant Sleep Consultancy.
By booking any service with The Sleep Cure, you (referred to as 'the client', 'you' or 'your') confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and The Sleep Cure.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered by The Sleep Cure, including but not limited to:
- The Sleep Reset — individual consultation package
- The Complete Cure — full sleep support package
- Bump to Bedtime — antenatal and newborn sleep support package
- Corporate packages, webinars, workshops and group sessions
- Any additional services, add-ons or resources offered by The Sleep Cure
The Sleep Cure reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on the website at www.the-sleep-cure.com. Continued use of The Sleep Cure's services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Services
2.1 Description of Services
The Sleep Cure provides specialist Infant Sleep Consultancy services to families with children aged from pregnancy to six years of age and corporate wellbeing services to organisations wishing to support their working parent employees.
All services are delivered virtually via video call, telephone, WhatsApp, email or text message unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Sleep Cure does not currently offer in-person consultations as a standard service.
Full descriptions of all current packages, including what is included, the age range applicable and the delivery method are available on the website at www.the-sleep-cure.com/sleeppackages. Package descriptions are subject to change. The description applicable to your booking will be that which was published on the website at the time of booking.
2.2 Individual Packages
The following individual packages are currently offered by The Sleep Cure:
- The Sleep Reset (from £110) — a focused 60-minute consultation with optional add-ons
- The Complete Cure (£299) — a comprehensive package including sleep diary review, personalised sleep plan, 60-minute consultation and three weeks of unlimited WhatsApp and email support
- Bump to Bedtime (£149) — a 60-minute consultation for expectant parents from 28 weeks pregnant or parents of babies under four months
Add-ons are available at additional cost as detailed on the website. All prices are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change. The price applicable to your booking will be confirmed at the time of booking. The Sleep Cure is contactable at any time between the hours of 07:00- 19:00 but will respond when possible, as soon as possible after receipt of the contact from the Client, notwithstanding personal circumstances or holidays.
2.3 Corporate Services
Corporate packages, webinars, workshops and group sessions are offered to organisations on a bespoke basis. The scope, delivery format and pricing of corporate services will be confirmed in a separate written proposal or service agreement provided to the organisation prior to booking. These Terms and Conditions apply to corporate bookings in addition to any terms set out in the corporate service agreement.
3. Booking and Confirmation
All bookings are made via the website, by email or by direct message as directed by The Sleep Cure. A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received and a written confirmation has been issued by The Sleep Cure.
By completing a booking you confirm that:
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the child for whom sleep support is being sought or you have the authority to book on behalf of the organisation in the case of a corporate booking
- All information provided at the time of booking is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
- You have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full
The Sleep Cure reserves the right to decline a booking at its discretion. In the event that a booking is declined after payment has been made, a full refund will be issued within five working days.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Payment Terms
All fees are due in full at the time of booking. Services will not be delivered until payment has been received and confirmed. The Sleep Cure does not offer payment plans for individual packages, unless expressly agreed in writing.
Payment can be made via the methods stated on the website or booking confirmation. All prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Corporate Payment Terms
Corporate clients will be invoiced as agreed in the corporate service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due within 14 days of the date of issue. The Sleep Cure reserves the right to withhold services in the event that a corporate invoice remains unpaid beyond the agreed payment date.
4.3 Price Changes
The Sleep Cure reserves the right to amend its pricing at any time. Any price change will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed and paid for prior to the change taking effect.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
5.1 Cancellation by the Client
The Sleep Cure operates the following cancellation and refund policy for individual packages:
- Cancellations made within 24 to 48 hours of the time of booking will be eligible for a full refund, provided that the service has not yet commenced
- Cancellations made after 48 hours of the time of booking are non-refundable
- Once the sleep diary has been received, a sleep plan has been written, a consultation has taken place, or WhatsApp and email support has commenced, no refund will be issued regardless of the time elapsed since booking
To request a cancellation within the eligible window, you must contact The Sleep Cure in writing via email at info@the-sleep-cure.com. The date and time of the email will be used to determine eligibility for a refund.
Refunds will be processed within five to ten working days of the cancellation being confirmed.
5.2 Rescheduling
Consultation appointments may be rescheduled by the client with a minimum of 24 hours notice at no additional charge, subject to availability. Requests to reschedule with less than 24 hours notice may be treated as a cancellation at the discretion of The Sleep Cure.
The Sleep Cure will make every reasonable effort to offer an alternative appointment date and time where rescheduling is requested in good time.
5.3 Cancellation by The Sleep Cure
In the unlikely event that The Sleep Cure needs to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative appointment at a mutually convenient time. If an alternative appointment cannot be agreed, a full refund will be issued.
The Sleep Cure shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience or expense incurred as a result of a cancellation or rescheduling beyond the refund of fees paid.
5.4 Corporate Cancellations
Cancellation terms for corporate packages, webinars and group sessions will be set out in the corporate service agreement. In the absence of specific terms in the corporate service agreement, the cancellation policy set out in clause 5.1 above will apply.
6. Medical Disclaimer

The information, advice and guidance provided by The Sleep Cure is intended for general educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. The Sleep Cure is not a medical practitioner in the context of these services and the consultancy services provided do not replace the advice, diagnosis or treatment of a qualified medical professional.
While Letitia Underwood holds professional qualifications as a Registered Midwife and Health Visitor, the services provided through The Sleep Cure are delivered in the capacity of an Infant Sleep Consultant and not in a clinical NHS capacity.
The sleep guidance and plans provided by The Sleep Cure are based on evidence-based infant sleep science and are tailored to the individual child and family. However, every child is different and results cannot be guaranteed. The Sleep Cure does not accept liability for any outcome resulting from the implementation of sleep guidance provided.
You are strongly advised to consult your GP, health visitor, paediatrician or other qualified healthcare professional:
- Before implementing any sleep changes if your child has a diagnosed medical condition that may affect sleep, including but not limited to reflux, allergies, respiratory conditions or neurodevelopmental conditions
- If you have any concerns about your child's physical or mental health at any time
- If you or your partner are experiencing symptoms of postnatal depression, anxiety or any other mental health difficulty
- If at any point during the sleep programme you have concerns about your child's health or wellbeing
All safer sleep guidance provided by The Sleep Cure is in line with The Lullaby Trust safer sleep recommendations. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to implement safer sleep practices at all times. The Sleep Cure has the right to decline working with a parent/guardian that is not following recommended safer sleep practices.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Sleep Cure will provide its services with reasonable skill, care and diligence. However, The Sleep Cure cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from its services, as the success of any sleep programme depends on a range of factors beyond The Sleep Cure's control, including but not limited to the child's temperament, health, developmental stage and the consistency of implementation by the parent or guardian.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sleep Cure shall not be liable for any:
- Loss of income, business or profit arising from the use of The Sleep Cure's services
- Indirect, consequential or special loss or damage of any kind
- Loss or damage arising from the failure to implement sleep guidance correctly or consistently
- Loss or damage arising from the provision of inaccurate or incomplete information by the client at the time of booking or during the provision of services
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The total liability of The Sleep Cure to the client in respect of any claim arising from the provision of services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the relevant service.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials, resources, sleep plans, guides, documents, methods, frameworks and content produced by The Sleep Cure, including but not limited to the sleep plan templates and written resources, are the intellectual property of Letitia Underwood trading as The Sleep Cure.
Materials provided to clients are for personal use only and may not be:
- Shared, distributed or reproduced in any form without the prior written permission of The Sleep Cure
- Used for commercial purposes
- Passed to third parties including other sleep consultants, healthcare professionals or organisations without express written consent
Sleep plans and resources are prepared specifically for the individual client and child for whom they are commissioned. They are not transferable to other children or families.
The Sleep Cure name, logo and associated branding are the property of Letitia Underwood. Unauthorised use of The Sleep Cure's branding or intellectual property is prohibited.
9. Confidentiality and Data Protection
9.1 Confidentiality
The Sleep Cure treats all information shared by clients as strictly confidential. Personal and sensitive information disclosed during consultations, via email, WhatsApp or any other communication channel will not be shared with any third party without the client's express consent, except where The Sleep Cure is required to do so by law, for example in circumstances involving safeguarding concerns.
As a practitioner with a background in NHS Safeguarding, Letitia Underwood is aware of her responsibilities in relation to the welfare of children and families. In the event that any information shared during the provision of services gives rise to a safeguarding concern, The Sleep Cure may be required to take appropriate action in line with statutory safeguarding guidelines, which may include disclosure to relevant authorities. This is not a breach of confidentiality.
9.2 Data Protection and GDPR
The Sleep Cure is committed to protecting your personal data and complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The personal data collected by The Sleep Cure includes:
- Contact details including name, email address and telephone number
- Information about your child including name, date of birth and health information relevant to sleep
- Sleep diary data and information about your family's routine and circumstances
- Payment information- note that The Sleep Cure does not store payment card details directly
This data is collected for the purposes of:
- Delivering the services you have booked
- Communicating with you about your booking and ongoing support
- Maintaining records of the services provided
Your personal data will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Data will be retained for a period of three years following the completion of services, after which it will be securely deleted.
You have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact The Sleep Cure at info@the-sleep-cure.com.

9.3 Testimonials and Case Studies
The Sleep Cure may occasionally request permission to use anonymised client experiences as testimonials or case studies for marketing purposes. Your consent will always be sought explicitly before any such use and you are under no obligation to provide it. All identifying details will be removed from any testimonial or case study used without explicit permission to identify the client.
10. Client Responsibilities and Code of Conduct
To enable The Sleep Cure to provide the best possible service, clients are asked to:
- Provide accurate, complete and honest information at the time of booking and throughout the provision of services
- Engage with the process as consistently as possible — the success of any sleep programme depends significantly on the consistency of implementation
- Communicate openly about any concerns, difficulties or changes in your child's health or circumstances that may affect the sleep programme
- Follow The Lullaby Trust safer sleep guidelines at all times
- Seek medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional if any concerns arise about your child's physical or mental health during the programme
The Sleep Cure reserves the right to terminate services without refund in the event that a client behaves in a manner that is abusive, threatening or disrespectful toward Letitia Underwood. This includes but is not limited to abusive communications via any channel including email, WhatsApp, telephone or social media.
11. General Terms
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with any written confirmation issued by The Sleep Cure at the time of booking, constitute the entire agreement between the client and The Sleep Cure in relation to the services booked. They supersede any prior discussions, representations or agreements.
11.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
11.4 Waiver
The failure of The Sleep Cure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
